A legendary character from the Song Dynasty novel "The Biography of Concubine Mei," said to be a favorite concubine of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. Originally named 江采苹 jiāng​cǎi​píng, she was famously fond of plum blossoms and was later cast aside due to the jealousy of 杨贵妃 yáng​guì​fēi. While some traditions treat her as historical, she is widely considered a fictional figure created by later authors.
