蔡琰 cài​yǎn Cai Yan

An influential female poet and musician (172–?) of the late Eastern Han dynasty, also known by her courtesy name 蔡文姬 cài​wén​jī; she was the daughter of the scholar 蔡邕 cài​yōng and was famously ransomed from captivity among the Xiongnu by 曹操 cáo​cāo.
