蔡琰 càiyǎn Cai Yan
An influential female poet and musician (172–?) of the late Eastern Han dynasty, also known by her courtesy name 蔡文姬 càiwénjī; she was the daughter of the scholar 蔡邕 càiyōng and was famously ransomed from captivity among the Xiongnu by 曹操 cáocāo.
